Participation in the Erasmus + International Credit Mobility program is based on the results of the annual call by the European Commission. Therefore, the list of host universities for Erasmus exchange varies from year to year, but is growing at the same time. If the KA107 applicationsubmitted this year is selected for funding then the students of our university will have the opportunity to travel to 5 new destinations under the Erasmus+ ICM framework. Participants of the Erasmus + exchange program are selected through an open competition, in accordance with the rule for participation in the exchange program and the selection criteria set internally by European University. Student selection may entail either two (document review & interview) or three-stage process (document review, English language proficiency test & interview), while the academic personnel is evaluated on the basis of a trial lecture. Students winning the competition sign the Learning Agreement ensuring the credit transfer for the courses successfully completed abroad, and the winning staff members sign the Mobility Agreement defining the components of the teaching period at the host university.
Bilateral Mobility Agreements
Students of European University are offered the opportunity to spend a semester or two at foreign universities in the framework of bilateral mobility agreements. Unlike Erasmus+ ICM program, this type of mobility is not limited to Europe only and does not depend on the third-party funding. Tuition fee as well as travel and subsistence costs incurred in connection with their study period abroad are fully covered by European University itself, which makes partnerships more sustainable. Student selection process for participation in this mobility scheme is similar to that of Erasmus+ program and thus may or may not involve a written component (English language proficiency test).
